General Information

• Opening Hours
  • We open from 6:30 am - 6:00 pm Sunday through Thursday.
  • From 6:30 am - 2:30 pm (Normal Rates).
  • From 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm (Extended hours service/Overtime Rates).
  • Our Core teaching Time is from 8:00 am - 1:30 pm.
• Languages
  • We follow the British Curriculum.
  • English is the basic spoken communicated language.
  • We teach English Language 5 days/week.
  • We teach Arabic Language 3 days/week.
  • We teach Islamic Studies (Quraan) 2 days/week.
  • We teach French Language 2 days/week.
• Admission
  • We accept children from 2 months till 4 years old.
  • We offer 3 , 4 and 5 day care programs.
  • We have an equal opportunity policy and accept children from different backgrounds.
• Documents Required for Registration
  • Photocopy of child's passport and visa (for Non-Qatari).
  • Photocopy of parent's/sponsor's passport and visa (for Non-Qatari).
  • Photocopy of parent's/sponsor's Qatar ID card (if applicable).
  • Photocopy of up to date immunization/vaccination records.
  • 2 Colored Passport Size photos of your child.
  • Non-refundable registration fees of QR 1000.
• Official Holidays

  Snow White Nursery follows Qatar's Law for the Official Government Holidays. These days include:

  • Eid Al Fiter - Government Holiday as set by Qatar's Law
  • Eid Al Adha - Government Holiday as set by Qatar's Law
  • Qatar's National Day - December 18th
  • Qatar's Sport’s Day - Every 2nd Tuesday of February
• Age Appropriate Classes
  • Our classes are age appropriate, but in some cases the children may be grouped according to their abilities and not always their age.
  • If your child is ready to move up to a higher class, we might do so only at the beginning of each term.
  • We have 3 main terms. Each term is 3 months.

• Safety Measurements

  We have taken high standards of safety measurements. These include

  • An Outdoor play area which is 80% shaded to prevent our children from being overheated or dehydrated.
  • A Rubber Based Floor covering the outdoor and indoor play areas, and other classrooms for extra safety.
  • 13 Cameras installed in all play areas, classrooms and baby rooms.
  • High fences separating the different outdoor area.
  • A safety guard.
  • Using the ground floor for classes and soft play areas, while keeping the 1st floor for offices only.
  • Having three emergency exits from different sides of the Villa.
  • An experienced Nurse and an On call qualified Doctor.
  • An experienced Nutritionist.
  • Experienced international teachers and staff.
  • High teacher to child ratio for extra care.
  • Safe, high quality and age appropriate furniture, facilities and toys.
  • Appropriate grouping of kids with respect to age and number of kids
  • Extra Hygiene measurements where toys and facilities are constantly washed, disinfected and kept clean and safe.
• Collection of Children
  • Upon registration, you will find in the Parent's Information Pack the "Consent Form".
    Kindly fill and sign this form for children will only be released to parents and adults whose names are listed on this Form.
  • Release to other adults may occur with a written authorisation signed and dated by the parent and by direct communication with the Nursery Manager.
  • In this case, Identification may be requested from the new collector and in some cases we might ask about a password or the kid's file number.
• Suggestions & Comments
  • We are always happy to assist you if you have any questions or inquiries, and we are also always ready to receive any suggestions or comments.
  • Kindly send us your thoughts and suggestions through filling our Comment's Form, and drop it in the Comment's Box at the reception, and we will get back to you the soonest. You will find this form with the Parent's Handbook package and at the reception.
• Potty Training
  • We also provide Potty Training when your child is emotionally and physically ready. Kindly check our Potty Training information for more details.
• Settling Happily
  • We help your child Settle happily in our nursery. Kindly check our Settling Policy steps for more details.
• Birthday Parties
  • Your child's special day is very important to us. Kindly notify us one week in advance of your child's birthday to prepare the necessary arrangements.
  • We have an amazing Birthday Party area, which is colorful, spacious and naturally lit.
  • The Birthday Party might last 20 to 30 minutes, where kids listen and dance to children's songs, eat, and sing Happy Birthday.
  • Along with the parents, siblings, and grandparents; a couple of families from your friends or close relatives are also welcomed to celebrate your child's Birthday Party.
  • Other special arrangements such as a short video for the Bday Party or face painting might be arranged in advance.

  For your child's Birthday kindly take note that you might want to bring the following:

  • Birthday Invitation Cards (at least 3 or 4 days in advance for distribution).
  • Birthday Party Accessories such as plates, plastic spoons, napkins.
  • Your child's Birthday Cake.
  • Birthday Cake Candles.
  • One table Cover for the main cake table (Optional).
  • Snacks, juice, pies, mini sandwiches or "Happy Meals" for all his/her classmates (Optional).
  • Balloons or other decorations (Optional).
